You robbed them…. That is a great find. I love my old Star progressive. Gave the universal to my brother a couple weeks ago but kept the progressive.

Next your going to say it had the lifetyme die in it?

My shop time today was spent going through the bags and bags of test rounds my dad left behind deciding what to take with me tomorrow to shoot through. Ended up throwing all the 9mm in the shooting box and I’ll do some light testing of my own to see what works best for me and replicate his loads when I start up my own. Since I’m shooting his 9mms his loads should do pretty well for me.

The stuff is cheap too. $14 for 56 oz.
The only problem with coconut oil is that it has a low melting point… like 75F.

Cast some .451 ball boolits and powder coated to get some more diameter. These look really good, will try them out this afternoon. Made about 100 caps with .005 brass shim stock, and primed with 22reloader compound. Been working extremely well, with this brass shim stock. Found out the brass sheet that i paid .88 cents from hobby lobby is too thick at .010, cuts hole but also pounced a hole through middle.

Sized, primed and got ready to load some 30/06 NM brass from the stash!!! Been a looonnnngggg time since I put the “ treatment” to some NM ‘06 brass! ( you guys know the drill, full length resized, chamfer outside and inside, true the primer pockets, deburred the flash holes, etc.)Now on to the powder charging and bullet seating chores! We’ll see if that old Rem. 700 still got the potential.

I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!

What molds did you use for these?

Both are Lee 2 cavity. I powder coated the bullets and then sized them. The 44s .429" and the 38s .377"; I've tried fatter in both but they chamber too firmly for hunting guns.

Finally got the kinks worked out of my Master Caster alignment issues, I think. I'll know next time when I set up my other mold that's not behaving like it should. But, these came out just fine for my 9mm.

Converted 1.5 buckets of COWW's into 104 nice, clean 1 pound ingots. If my math is correct, that's 2,912 Keith 250's via Accurate's AM432250K.Click image for larger version.

I cast up several hundred Lyman #266673 150 grain 6.5mm boolits. Sized and gas checked them at .266" I plan on tumble lubing them with 45-45-10 and loading them up in 6.5x55 Swedish at around 1600 fps with some 2400. I haven't finished the stock for the Turkish 98 Mauser with the Swede barrel yet, so I'm not in any hurry.

Just got done loading up some 38 specials. Used about 3.6 grains of Winchester 231. Don't want them too hot for my derringer.
If they turn out to be a good shooter I may up the powder a bit to see what happens.

NO, but I had a spare Lifetyme carbide die that screwed right in

Only thing needed now is a powder hopper.

I scraped the "original refinish" varnish off of a Western Auto model 110 .22 rifle stock. Since I can't remove all of the stain unless I oversand it- I'll re-stain it before rubbing in the TruOil.

After I get my morning stuff all taken care of, I'm going to load 100 9mm rounds while listening to some good ole 70's music.

A old working buddy came by and we melted about 100# of stick-on wheelweights and cast them into ingots. Then we set up the anvil and stamped permanent letters on them and on the 700 pounds of clip-on wheelweight ingots that we cast a few weeks ago.

ID:	299118After ten weeks of rehab from a broken femur finally able to get back into the reload room. Manage to pick up where I had left off working up some 10 mm loads with HS 6 and hsm 180 grain plated bullets. I got to the range to test them, and found out more people are shooting 10 mm leaving the brass on my ground. Picked up 500 empties out of mud and cleaned those up with citric acid sized them the deprime and send them back to the Tumbler with stainless steel media. They sure do come out clean. Ready to load a few hundred for a training session next month. Ordered a 4 cavity mold from Arsenal with 2 165 grain WFN and two 200 grain WFN. Cleaned up an Old LYMAN 45 and ordered A sizing die top punch. Going to get out and run my first run of cast booiits.
