I just use clean cola bottles for acetone or any solvent. Works fine.

I am using Pat Marlin's gas check makers. I did a whole "how I do it":

They work GREAT! I love shooting full power 10mm in my GP100. But I'll shoot 100 rounds and my barrel is clean after a wet then dry patch.

About 3 years ago, I bought a BUNCH of 308 Winchester LC brass that was primed.
I finally got around to loading the last 75 of those.

At this point all my 308 brass is needs to be prepped before I can load anymore. I have a bunch that really should be annealed and then it all needs to be trimmed. I think that'll be a Saturday when I'm not doing anything else.

I ignored the mess and finished processing about 1250 pieces of 9mm brass and pushed that off to the side to cast some more boolits.

I cast about 200 40 cal boolits and about 3lbs of #1 buck...

I really want to take OO buck, O buck and #1 buck and see if I can get a combination that is lead dense and patterns well...

I had too many things going on in the Man Cave/Garage/Reloading room. Some furniture refinishing going on, but the Mail brought my Hornady # 11 today so I had to sit at the Bench looking through it!

BLL then gas checked some boolits for a 280 Ross and a 6.5x52.

Loaded 5 test rounds for the 280 Ross, fed and fired well. No leading, bore wiped out with a dry patch.

Now to start stepping up the load. Cases were pretty sooty.

Reloading room is kind of a do everything shop!

Ran 180 38 Special cases through the sizer and expander dies, then primed them with an RCBS hand primer. I was gifted some Clays a while ago by a member on this forum and im gonna try it out.

Went to the range and shot 38 Special from the the Colt Official Police. 40 loaded with 2.7 grains of Clays and 40 with 2.3 grains. They both shot to point of aim and I want to be easy on the old revolver so I loaded all 135 of my 38 Special cases with 2.3 grains under a 150 grain hollowpoint(I know I need a lot more cases). Clays does seem to burn hotter than Red Dot, cases were noticeably warmer, but with less recoil than the 2.8 grains of Red Dot that I normally load. Ive wanted to try this powder for awhile since it was gifted to me a couple of years ago.

Do you have good success loading for that? I have had problems after only 2x loading as far as accuracy and SD in velocity.

Just cast a few 44-40 bullets and prepped 50 cases. I don't do huge batches of anything. Even 50 is a big lot for me these days.
