Decided to make some 300 BO and found that 36 rounds fits in the 30 round 7.62x39 repack box. So, I made 3 boxes (108 rounds)...

Weighed powder charges and seated RCBS 7mm 145 gr Silhouettes into 100 7BR cases. With what I had already loaded, this should get me through the remainder of the silhouette season.

PC'd and sized about 15lbs of 40 cal boolits for loading some 40 S&W... Will have to shoot some this weekend so I can get motivated to load the next 4 or 500.

Not today and not in the loading room, but yesterday in the shop. Me and Biggin had our annual smelt yesterday. Five 5 gallon buckets of sorted wheelweights and some odd scrap lead made 616 ingots. About 8 hours setting up, making ingots, permanently stamping them and cleaning up. It was a 3 Aleve night for me. We have cast over 1200 ingots in a day before so this wasn't all that bad.

I haven't cast anything for some time, and just started digging out my black powder stuff again!
Tgese are .562's for my Hawken, I wanted to try a slightly smaller ball and heavier patch

250 30-30 157 grain with 7 grains of Red Dot. Should be enough for me and a friend at the lake for vacation. Gonna bring the 223 bolt action and a 22 as well.

Cast around 500 Accurate 36-180LG boolits. I also recently got a 15oz can of the Hi-Tek coating. I'm going to try it out on about 250 rounds to see how it goes. I mixed the powder in acetone this evening. Should be coating tomorrow evening.

Yesterday, I cast close to 1000 125 gr. TC bullets for my brother’s 9mm autos and revolver. Today I sized about half of them. I hope to finish them up tomorrow.

Loaded up 100 rounds of .40 S&W to shoot at a men's retreat in a couple of weeks. My girlfriend's dad invited me and told me to bring some guns to shoot. Bringing a 1911 and Glock Gen 5 G23 for pistols, then a Henry Big Boy X lever gun in .45 Colt for a rifle.

Load was one I'd never tried before; 180 grain Hornady FMJ FP with 5.5 grains of WSF. Still trying to find something the G23 likes. So far, the accuracy of it has been horrible. About ready to sell it.

Never seen that powder for sale around here. And KKM doesn't make a barrel for my pistol.

I decided I was going to change up the coating I was using for my AR style rifles and try Hi-Tek. I understand that it is a little thinner and is fairly consistent. With PC, some powders coat thicker and with the mass coating method of dumping on to a screen occasionally leads to little boogers that can hang up feeding.

so, today I hi-tek coated about 250 36-180LGs... First time coating and it went well. Did 2 coats and they passed the tests and they look very nice. Tomorrow, I'll GC and resize and get some pics.

Loading 100 .300BO with 147gr fmj and 110 gr Speer sp; respectively plinking and hunting ammo. That little cartridge is fun to begin with, but with the FastFire 3 on the very light AR CavArms carbine- even more funner.
I'm also soaking my 44-40 barrel in Hoppes #9 to remove the leading caused by yours truly idiot loading Hornady swaged bullets over my normal lukewarm Unique recipe. Duh.

What did you do in the reloading room today?

Evenings festivities included PCing roughly 270 9mm HPs and 120 heavy 44s. Even got all of them through the sizer and boxed up ready for shipment to a shooter I supply. All done while watching Castlevania (Netflix, thanks RogerDat) on my phone
