Vacuumed the floor again and de-primed a 5 gallon bucket of brass.(223 old stuff from 10-20 years ago
Cleaned up the mess from yesterday when I loaded about 100 rounds of various calibers of rifle ammo...single state marathon event.
I took the presses and measures off my reloading table and put everything in totes. I am in the process of moving to another house and got most of it moved today, but not set up yet. I still have more stuff and a set of shelves to move tomorrow.
I had no idea I had so much stuff. I took a trailer and pickup load over today with the loading table and will probably have about half that to go tomorrow.
Primed the last of my 30-06 brass and swept the floor of the reloading room. Got some long guns and ammo together for a trip to the range come Wendsday if it doesn't rain.
Spent the entire day entertaining a Grand son. Important stuff first ya know.
Being retired makes everyday Saturday, so I'll "get er done" tomorrow.
Boxed up boolits to ship. Sold a H&R 44m rifle. Wife found a new used 10x10' dog pen yesterday so we set it up today.
Loaded about 300 38specials with Lee 105's. Powder coated them orange and sized to .358.
Loaded some 357 and 41 mag with Elmer's favorite loads to test my two Ruger Bisleys I just got. Sized and lubed 500 357 170 grain SWC. Loaded 50 rounds of 25 Remington for my model 8 and cleaned 500 rounds of 38 special in the tumbler.
Only left handed guns are interesting!
Sunday, grandson helped me move some stuff out of the basement and then hung out with me while I worked up some test loads in 38 special. Wife made burgers and salad, yard was mowed the day before. Life is pretty good. Unique 4.1 grains under 158 gr. truncated cone is very pleasant and so far seems accurate enough. Make that life is very good.
Polished a bunch of brass too while I was at it. Caught up on polishing, guess I need to get more eh?
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.
Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

I mixed up 12 lbs of 50:50 lino and wheelweight alloys in my Lee bottompour. I fluxed it with a small spoon of boric acid-based flux and a couple handfuls of sawdust. Then I examined my rifle molds and turned off the pot. My aluminum molds need some serious cleaning and lapping.
Not the reloading room but the garden. Made me some wicking beds with 5 gal buckets.

Nothing but saying a few prayers. My reloading room is my calmest place.

Loaded 300 40's. Now I have 700 loaded rounds. That will do for a few matches. Of course, if we don't get to more matches, it will last much longer. I also finally finished the cart for my new miter saw (at least I hope so) by mounting the wings on the sides that fold down.
Totally prepped 200 RP & 300 LC 308 brass. Since these were for AR & M14s FL X die sized, trimmed those that needed it & annealed all. Man do I hate trimming even though I have a power trim/campher tool it's still a PIA.
Sized and trimmed 3000 223's with my Dillon 1200. Gosh, I love that trimmer! Then tumbled them in my stainless pin machine. Will load them and empty them again this week.
Changed the pot in my Pro-Melt, sent from RCBS under their lifetime warranty- no charge. Tested it with water; no drips. The original pot was over 30 years old. The hardest part was drilling out the old stainless steel pop rivets.

I finished up a lot of 1200 38 Special rounds with Lee 105 pc'd pills.
