Those look great DG! Quite often I don't have any time to work on our hobby but I sure enjoy reading about others that do!

Interesting. How much larger is the primer than the Winchester primer pockets?

Cleaned up a new mold and started heat cycling.....this one will be a challenge. It's a 37 grain hollow point with gas check cast at .227 and will size to .225. First mold from MP Molds. Ordered Sunday, shipped on Monday with a delivery date of today and was delivered by DHL yesterday. Better service from Slovenia than anyone in U.S. and this was the cheaper shipping option. I have been reloading 5.7X28 using 40gr Hornady V-Max but want to try to load some cast for plinkers. Good advice welcome.

Did some picture taking and cleaning up on my nerw purchase. A Herters Model Super 234 6 hole turret press. It's brute!
Need to do more clean on the rest of the purchase. The Lyman 55 it a bit sticky. The rest a bit of rust from long storage.

Loaded up 150 more 40s... Got an early start today. Realized that I probably need to do a 20-40lb casting session with my 40s I use for 40 S&W...

It was 1AM when I finished so I'm counting it as today. I got my Lee APP replacement parts on the press, mounted it, set up one of my punch through dies (NOT the new style the old one) and put a piece of 3/4 rad hose on it into a plastic jar. After that I sized some .45 ACP bullets and loaded em up. Ran out of primers in the tube and only had a bit of stuff left over so I said what the heck. They're Lee 200 LRNFPs that drop to 215ish for me for some reason powder coated with a dark blue from Eastwood and backed with 7.9gr Power Pistol. I ran out of Nitro 100 (old formula) so I decided to switch to PP since I had a ton of it.

I also picked up some SPP .45 ACP brass a few days back and will keep that handy as well. My supplies of LPP are very limited so I'll probably make some ammo to hold back using LPP and then if I want to go plink or whatever the SPP brass will be what I use. I need to dedicate a sharpie color to make sure that brass is marked and easily recognized though.

I shared some powder, primers, and boolits with my son whom will be a new reloader in the future. Tuff times finding what you need to fill a new hobby like ours.

I got these primed 22lr cases in yesterday and loaded wax and cast gluelets and loaded them. I have no heeled lead 22 cast yet but soon. The Reloader 22 mold is ??? It has two molds. IDK? Since I have yet to fire any on a range with known distance and a proper target.

    They are available now.

    at 119 per 2000

primed collibri type 22lr powder less cases

    at FedArm 50 units available.

I got them for DIY lead wax or gluelets or blanks.

Loaded up .476 Arsenal 415 grain swc over 25 grains of H110, Lee .476 400 grain RF over 22 grains of H110 and a H&G #50 over 3.4 grains of Universal for a little range fun tomorrow. I am not sure what to think about the Redding profile crimp die, I have only used roll crimps for the heavy hitters but that wasn’t an option for the Linebaugh so I guess I’ll see how it goes.

I use a redding crimp die for 44 mag - makes a PERFECT crimp into the grove.

PCed a bunch of boolits tonight. 227 75gr Nato, 312-157gr, and 270-150gr. Haven't shot PC out of the 30-30 or the 270, but the 227's showed lots of promise in 223 AR's. Also sized a bunch of 30-30 brass and started to trim them. 600 pieces in total to process.

Dropped about 400 .45 Lee 200RNFPs and 1075ish .356 125gr bullets. I have a 2 cavity mold in the .45 and a 6 in the 9mm. Really starting to want a 6 cavity mold in the .45 but the prices are insane right now. Up next is powder coating this lot, it's a big one so it could take a while. I have another probably 3-500ish in 9mm as well that needs to get PC so I can add them to the rest of the inventory.

Next time I do .45 bullets I think I'm going to probably pull out my 6 cavity Lee 105 SWC mold and be ready to load up some .38/.357 mag.
