Wiped down and waxed the bench. Need to keep going on 556 loads.

Looks good. Now take a picture in two weeks and lets see what it looks like. If you are like the rest of us it will be piled full of 18 different reloading projects at once. I feel like all I do is clean the bench.

You give me two weeks. That is mighty generous indeed. Today I’m half way there already.

I cleaned the surface of the workbench. I can now breathe a sigh of relief.

Took 1500 clean pieces of 556 brass to our recreation log house to separate by head stamp. Hope it’s worth it. Need magnifying glasses to see them even after cleaning.

Today, I did a little decapping. My diaper box of range pick up 223 rem box was over flowing.

Broke two pins. This jug is about half of what I did. My right arm is super strong now. I'm going to go enter a local arm wresting contest.

I tried to confirm drops from my Ohaus/ RCBS 10-10 beam scale.
I am not confident in its settings, especially the tenth guage.
I must be missing something, what is it?
    Much obliged, Max

Opened up all the cases of primers I have collected in the last few years and put them on the shelf so I have a clue what I have and what I need. Its so cluttered I am still confused. Guess I will be taking my reloading books and moving them off the shelf to make more room so I can spread out the primers in sections. If I only spent as much time shooting these days as I do cleaning I would be a much happier person.

Meaning that you aren't confident that it'a accurate? Only way to know is to test it with known weights. This set is similar to what I have.

You will have to do some calculating, because the set is calibrated in grams, not grains.

Hi Switzer, yes accuracy is the issue. I was looking for a way to check the small increments like tenths of a grain. i know that RCBS or Ohaus will accept it back for calibration but I am trying to avoid that>

    Much obliged, Max

In that set you will have weights as small as 10 milligrams, which is 0.154 grain

From there you can make even smaller ones from bits of fine copper wire. Fussy work, but it can be done.
