Went for a cruise on the Sportster, passed a 5 gallon bucket sitting next to a mailbox on the side of the road.

At 45 mph it looked like was 3/4 full of brass. Had to make a u-turn to make sure I wasn't imagining things.

I wasn't. And the bucket had FREE scrawled on it. Quick scruff through the bucket found a handful of 7.62x54r boxer primed. Time to swap the Harley for the GMC.

75% of the bucket was steel but I did get 100+ 7.62x54r, and a bunch of 7 Remington Magnums, 30-30's, 357's, 7.62x39 that got sorted into the keep pile. Bunches of brass 223, 308 45 ACP and a few more of the usual suspects to go for scrap. Steel will go in the recycle bucket, not the landfill. Unfortunately it doesn't pay as well as brass.

Loaded up 200 more 10mm for my new 1911. I think I've got about 200 more to go.

I re-loaded some Wolf steel case .45 ACP with Power Pistol and Lee 200gr swc for night time raccoon hunting. No worries if I lose the empties....one use only.

Those must be some honkin' raccoons if you need a .45 to knock 'em over!

I had hit my restock level on 9mm, so rolled up 200 of them. 356402 sized .356 over 4.3 gr of Promo; Servicios y Aventuras primers.

Sorted my last half-bucket of wheel weights and melted them down. I'm spitballing that in ingots I got 50-75 lb of COWW and another 30-40 lb of SOWW.

Update: actual take was 47.0 of COWW and 20.0 of SOWW.

Loaded up some test rounds for my ‘03 Remington using 311041’s over 32 grains of H4895. I plan on using it for deer hunting this year.

Toughest one I had to deal with took 12 38 Specials with 125 grain cast boolits to stop trying to get away. The front paws were still motivating it forward up to shot 11 and 12. And the longest shot was under 10 feet, so even 600 fps loads still hit with SOME authority.

I attributed it to being too close to the Fermi plant--nuclear coons.

Cast a few 300 gr for 35 Whelen, resized some 30-06 to 35 Whelen. Measured and remeasured throat depth for the 300 gr, looks like they will seat into the case a bit. Cleaned up a bit, then messed the place up again, time to clean and put stuff away.

Okay so this was all on Friday. Fluxed about 70 lbs of cww biscuits, with Sulfur, from my last huraw with available ww s. Had some zinc sneak in. Thanks for the sticky on sulfer and zinc. Haven’t cast any yet but it looks more like lead now. The biscuits had like little flat shiny flecks before. Also got to fire 50 different 10 mill test rounds. Got 1138 ‘/sec 220 gr over 11.4 gr AA#9 fed gm200m mag primers spm. No visible side effects stopping there. Good accuracy. This accurate arms 40-215-F has decent accuracy all the way from 9.5 gr 1000 ‘ per. I like it. Reed

Does seem like you should be using full power 44 mag just so there is an example for the others that'll show up...

Cast about 15lbs of my NOE 454-237-RN for my 1911 and then cast about 7 lbs of this new MP-359-125. That new MP mold only threw 4 or 5 wrinkled boolits and the nose fills out great!

Dude! You need to cut back on the PC, you're changing color!

I cleaned, primed and loaded 95 223 55g and 100 350L with the 38-200 GC. Got another 400 350L cases primed yesterday and will fill them today. That RCBS clone is every bit as accurate as the 170 Hornady SP if not more so. I'll leave the last 90 Hornady on the shelf if I ever want to revisit but all the loaded 350L ammo will be GC'd lead.

Got another 150 350L loaded and 100 more started. Still over 100F here, taking it slow.

Only 95 today so I fired up the Pro Melt 2 and cast 5-600 38-200s with the 8 cavity MP Mold. The pot is dripping like crazy and I'm tire of cleaning every few pots. I ordered a new PID from Auber for my original Pro Melt. The thermostat died, the Ink Bird PID shows symptoms of being a fake so $50 shipped sounds like a deal to get that pot running again.

Mark this date and let us know how many years 3 pounds lasts!

Finally after taking apart my old reloading room and moving, I cast boolits for the first time in four years.
