Loaded up 150 10mm plated 180gr fp over 8.8gr of hs6 with fed 200 spm primers. Target rounds for a red dot training end of this month.
Got my accurate arms brass mold yesterday. Can’t wait to make some boolits‼️ Tested positive for cov last week and not up for the challenge yet. Been pulling supplies together for about a year and reading up so it’s time to drop some lead. Click image for larger version.

Cast 80 Lyman 266469. Lubed them and loaded 20 to check in my 6.5x55 1903 Swedish Mauser. Had a few issues to work through but think I’ve got it figured out. Building brass from commercial 30-06. I’ll try it on paper tomorrow.

Well the Mothers day project worked out so good I thought today was a good day to increase the range 38 specials. It came out fine. Since I'm on a roll it seems that the 9's will suffer an increase in population this week too. Finished off 400 38 specials today.

Great Job Mondoair. Nothing like success to keep the momentum going, especially when working in less than stellar temperature like AK has in early May. Keep the stove going if you have one even if just a campfire with a heat reflector nearby to keeps the legs warm.

I managed to make some lube out of beeswax and lithium molly. Loaded up my old 45 Luba sizer and sized about 100 of the 150 grain plinkers to.402”. Loaded up 20 rounds in four loads of five and hope to see if they shoot tomorrow. I appreciate the encouragement I received from you guys thanksClick image for larger version.

Well the saga continues. Managed to load up some of the 220 grain monsters to test along with the 150 grains. Had 20 rounds four different loads of 150‘s stopped after every five to look at the barrel a lotta Ash and stuff in there but no lead. Did the same with the 220 grains two rounds at a time because I didn’t have any load data for them. they were pushing about 884 and 925 like that but maybe I’m getting lead I haven’t determined that for sure. Must be my alloy too hard or too soft don’t know yet but they all went bang. Had real good accuracy on some of those little poppers. These are running through a XDM with a 5 1/4 barrel 10 mm. My Lee APP press arrived yesterday. Deprimed over 1200 9mm cases, 300 38 Specials, over 1000 380 and about 150 6.5CM this morning. The primer catch bottle was over 3/4 full when I finished. Why did I wait so long to get the press? Definitely a time saver.

I haven't sized any bullets on it yet, but as soon as I get some powder coated I will.

Fitted a gas check seater to my Lube-A-Matic 2 today, and found the boolit ejector lock ring was fitted incorrectly when originally assembled, on top of the housing & should have been under which didn't allow the gas check seater to fit.
After a quick reassemble, all good allowing the seater to slip in place......& seated some hundred gas checks.....
Not overly impressed, short stroke, but the gas check had a lip you could feel with a thumbnail.
When seated deeper there is a smooth finish down past the gas check, but still happy.

Primed 150 10mm to load up all of my first batch of 150 gr boolits. Have only tested 20 of those so far but they are very accurate at 1000” per sec or so. Light 40 cal loads. 8 gr aa #5 That’s what I’m looking for for paper and my wife’s new xdm elite 3.8” 10mm osp. Want to start her out soft and accurate.

Well, yesterday actually, cast up about 350 Lee 38 RNFP for a Model 15 S&W that is headed my way. Waiting for the gun so I can check throats and bore before sizing/lubing. Also waiting for some brass as all I have on hand is 33 range pick-ups to load.

Sized my first bottle neck cases, swaged my first primer pockets and primed 10 as a test. Also made 4 223 dummies for plunk and to check function. Was always a revolver guy until california got me started on ARs. I think I want a 450 Bushmaster next.

My first casting session lasted four hours and now that I’ve got all the bollits that were salvageable loaded up turns out I had about 120 usable out of some 22lbs of alloy. Oh well next couple hours a casting I’ll get four times that. They do say education is costly. Click image for larger version.

Sized some 7.62x39 cases the other day and made a couple of dummy rounds with the boolits I had, a 165 grain hollow point and a 157 grain round flat nose. Neither fed in the AK, jamming on the chamber mouth. Ordered a Lee 312 155 2r six cavity mold with handles and it arrived in today. May get to cast with it down at the lake this weekend.
