WFN bullet mold for Freedom Arms .475?

I believe I'm buying a Freedom Arms Model 83 in .475 Linebaugh tomorrow. I think I read that the maximum nose length projecting beyond case mouth is .395 inches?

What are WFN plain-base bullet molds whose cast bullets (370-420 grains) are designed for Model 83's cylinder length?

I can not give you a specific mould number to go by, but when I bought my Model 83 I also received several commercially cast 385 grain bullets in LFN configuration. They chamber fine, and shoot very well.

They were cast by http://www.montanabulletworks.com, and their ad states that they use LBT moulds.

    Hope this helps.

    Lloyd:

360 grains is lighter than I prefer for the 475. And a narrow flat nose -- like RCBS's 476-400-SWC -- plain-base is not what I have in mind. I believe this plain-base bullet requires trimming .475's case to properly fit Model 83's cylinder.

Am I wanting too much from an off-the-shelf production mold? I am sold on WFN impact performance being demonstrably superior to LFNs. And, in theory, WFN allows identical weight to be shorter than LFN.

I'm reluctant to create a mold using Mountain Molds computer application -- GIGO.

NEI's online information is older, perhaps out of date. I may have located two bullets that might fit my wants, .475-420-PB #356 335, and .476-410 #357E. From NEI's information, I cannot tell, though.
