Old Magma Sizer/ New Bullet Twister

I picked up a Old Magma Sizer and do not want to spend the $$$$.$$ or the wait on a corralator. I designed this up today. I plan on running my Mr. Bullet feeder off my 1050 into this "Bullet Twister" then down into the sizer! This should speed things up nicely! And on the cheap. BTW I am using Hi-Tek so there is no lubing going on here...

    Nose up to nose down.

    Just thought i would share

    Thanks, Matt

Do you intend to run different ones for each size boolit?

    Thanks a lot fellas!

Just going to run 9mm for now. It's not a big deal to make one for 45 when we start doing them down the road. I'll make it a different color to. Maybe Blue.

You need to put a motor on your bullet flipper so you don't have to do it by hand.
Your sizer has that wheel that spins. You could gear it right so that the flipper turns one turn for ever turn the sizer does.

Yes. I have actually thought about that. I would need to make the Bullet Twister with only 1 hole per revolution since the Sizer produces 1 bullet per revolution.... This has 8 holes in it now and should have no problem keeping up.... For now it will make things easier. If I go fully Automatik then I will build it again out of aluminum and use bearings....just going to try this for now.

    Thanks for the feedback!

My buddy runs a RCBS bullet feeder on his new style Magma, works great.

Does it feed nose up or nose down?

The RCBS bullet feeder sorts nose up. The same as my Mr Bullet feeder. The boolits need to enter the sizer nose down. That's why I am building the Bullet Twister.

Need to automate the flip process as you will get tired of turning the knob

It's 1 rotation for every 5-6 seconds or so. Doing that it gives me time to keep the Mr Bullet a Feeder full. It's faster then loading them by hand. Automated would be nice but these Magma Lubemasters are FAST! About 1.25 per second....
