I'm going to try really hard to make this one at the Joe Foss Range. I'm also up for lunch or whatever? Might talk a couple other members from here into riding over.

BTW, if you see Al Gore kick his a** for me.....it's snowing here in Lake Havasu!

It looks like their winter hours are 8am-2pm, so what time are we meeting up? I'm going to try my best to make it to this one and if so I'll have the little ones with me again.

9ish sounds good to me, but like you I wouldn't know for sure until late (or maybe even that day). It looks like the drive is going to be around a hour and a half, so that would set us to leave around when the kids are used to going to school.

Dave......I hope someone else chimes in here! I really do not want to drive all that way to shoot by myself. And miss all those shining faces!

Jim - I completely agree. I'll still go shooting but it would be were we could shoot our steel and a few other things.

My wife had to go to Alaska for work this week, so doubtful she will be back in time, unless they wrap up early and she can catch an earlier flight.

At least I got to take family to Jim Jones shooting range Sunday after wife got done hanging with one of her friends. Only bad part or good part, it was my wife and kids who did all the shooting. My son had his new 243 (xmas present) to shoot and I put my strike fire on my daughters criket. So 7rounds through my Para Executive carry was all I managed. But they had fun and that's what matters. I have a buddy dealing with MS and he hasn't been shooting since it really started kicking his rear. I wanted to use this as an excuse to drag him out and shoot. He was really big into casting too. Hard for us to get together with all going on and me on Rim and him in Valley. So this would have been perfect. I kept telling him, if I was going he didnt have a choice and was going too.

While I want to go, can't do it if wife isn't home. Kids got a puppy for xmas too (me a future new hunting dog/partner when he's bigger) and can't/won't leave him locked up all day. Oh well, worst case , I can take kids and hit Jim Jones for a bit. More kids shooting and dad helping watching.

I'll be going and bring my 357 lever for Dave's son and daughter to shoot. And I'll try and load up some thing else or else I'll bring something that shoots surplus.

I'll have to tell my son tonight when I get home. He's asked me about that rifle a few times and when discussing other calibers he uses that as a reference. Thanks Art. Now I have to try harder to make it.

I'm coming, targeting 9ish myself. Will bring the Palma rifle if someone wants to see how well HV cast bullets can really shoot? Plan on a couple SAAs, my M73 Winchester (Uberti) and my Officer's Model Trapdoor (H&R) for fun.

    Artful:

Do they have target stands and cardboard?

What is the cost to shoot?

That web link above does not work on either of my computers or iPad.

I will have my 38/357 carbine lever there also. And some lite loads if they want to shoot those!
