    An old friend returns

I loaded my last 50 Miha .434 270 grn RNFP gas checked boolits last night- told the wife I was making 50 ebola treatments. I hadn't fired up the pot since last winter and decided I would cast some more up today. Sure felt good to cast up a batch, I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. As soon as it cools down some outside I have about 80 lbs of wheel weights to smelt along with 50 pounds or so of pure lead and 25-30 pounds of lino.

    COME ON, COOL WEATHER !

I've been eyeing my melting pot. I'll have to clear the junk collected all over it to fire it up. Soon. It will be soon.

I got out Tuesday and rendered down some WW's, ingotized some Pb, and also ingotized some range scrap. I now have about 50 lbs. of newly-ingotized base metal, a coffee can full of spring clips, and another can of bullet jackets. Will take those cans to the scrap dealer next week to trade (hopefully!) for some type metal. First time I fired up the turkey fryer in months...

One of the most endearing sights in the world is the vision of a naked good-looking woman leaving the bedroom to make breakfast. Bolivar Shagnasty (I believe that Lazarus Long also said it, but I can't find any record of it.)
