Just shot some of my 230gr Lee Blackout bullets. I'm impressed with their accuracy.

I use w/w lead with aluminum gas checks and 45-45-10 White Lube. At 30 yards I could put my fist over 30 rounds.
I used my converted Bushmaster carbon 15 with a 16" barrel.
    Carrying heat in dry heat.
    God bless SB1070

Good to hear! I've experimented a little with the 230gr Lee with LLA and PC and have been getting about 1"-1.5" at 50 yards. I haven't tried it with gas checks yet.

Just a fallow up. checked my barrel for lead, not a single drop of it left in there.

Good to hear. I shot some, maybe around 20, with LLA and some with powder coat a couple weekends ago. I only noticed a little powder fouling, no lead at all. I'm about out of the bullets I cast for load workup, so I need to cast some more and start shooting the rifle more often.
