Recyclers here in OKC are paying $0.40 per pound and selling them at $1 per pound. If your local tire shops or salvage yards won't give them to you I'd make them an offer based on the going rates starting a little under what the recyclers are paying.

Around here, scrap dealers pay 30-40c/lb. Scrap yards are selling lead for 60-70c/lb

Last time I checked our local scrap yards were paying $.30, and selling for $1.00 a pound. What a rip-off! Ill keep scrounging!

Our tire dealers get 40-45 dollars for a 5 gal bucket. I think the days of free and/or very reasonable WW are about over.
Ask an American Indian what uncontrolled immigration did for his lands and his way of life. Then, think about your children's and grandchildren's future.
