    Old Black Oxidized Boolets

I bought some casting equipment and some factory cast boolest that a neighbor had. I got 500 158gr SWCHP-.358 500 158gr RN-.358 and 500 125gr RN-.355. I tried cleaning some up with acetone followed by 50-50 vinegar and water. I my goal was to PC these boolets but I can't get them clean enough to take the powder. I tried them with some fresh cast ones that did fine but these black one's were very spotty if they had any on them at all..

    Anyone have any ideas?
I hope my wife doesn't sell my guns for what I told her I gave for them!

Tumble lube them and let them fly

I love PC, but in your case, grease is the best approach.
