    contender pistol groups

i think i labeled what i was doing clearly enough
    .223 rem at 100 and 300 yards
    10-22 at 26 yards
    this range is sweet!
it was awful windy today though.

i think a 3.140 inch 3 shot group at 300 yards with a pistol is something to write home about.
at least for me it is.

i was giddy with joy when i got a gander of the clubs range.
i have been a member of 4 clubs and they were all small towns and they all had really sweet ranges that were usually deserted.
i love going to the range on a morning and having the run of the place.
i can really concentrate with nobody around.

I would settle for a useful 200 yard range at my own club (the 100 yd range is quite nice and the pistol ranges superb, however). I am green with envy.

i dont pretend to understand what happens when i am shooting into a stiff oncoming breeze.
but if it was calm i bet anything that 300 yard group would be smaller
