    opinion of the Crossman mark 1, .22 pellet pistol ?

    there is one for sale locally. Seller says the seals are good. asking 75.00 is it worth it for an old .22 airgun? Here's a picture

    I really enjoy mine- The O rings were a bugger to replace, but aside from that- it is a joy to shoot. Good link.....

    At one point Mac1 was paying, IIRC, $100 for any Crosman mk1 or 2 pistol, pretty much in any complete condition.

    Lots of rebuild information and sources online if you dig around the web.

    The O rings are pretty basic to get at, other than getting the smaller ones at the piercing cap. Even they are not too tough, if you have a dental pick or similar tool, and are not concerned about damaging the seal on removal.
