    ?? about 38 blanks

i was gives some 38 spl rp blank brass. it looks like reg 38 spl but as a roll crimp thar did not come out when fired. i think it will flare out and load just like any 38 spl brass. i have not counted it yet but think there are200-400 of them. they are nice and clean. has any one reloaded these before ? i will be saleing them or trade for some lead. if interested i can count them. i know this is not the sale section but i am asking questions more than saleing them.

    Two thoughts.

If these cases are made like other blanks, the flash holes may be oversized, thus dangerous for use with standard loads. How do they look?

I agree that the flash holes are likely enlarged to prevent the primers from backing out and tying up the action. Might be good candidates for rubber or wax bullet training rounds if you can get the crimp open/smooth enough. those rounds typically use only a primer and no powder.
    Can you post a picture?

Ditto on using them for wax, rubber, or reusable plastic projectiles.
Personally - I'd make sure to separate and store them apart from standard cases.

yes they do have over size flash holes. my friend said he had a hard time trying to get the crimp out. i will try some the next time i load some 38's.

If yours are like mine, I can not imagine expanding the case and removing enough crimp to load them normally regardless of other issues with the case.
