Can all cavities be plain base?
The PB option will raise weight but only by 2 grains or so total because normally a gas checks would be sitting there.

If the bullet is plain base will the one lube groove carry enough lube for full loads?
If not, I am interested in the gas check version but, if the lube capacity is enough for plain base I would prefer it due to the cost of the gas checks.

I would say so, most of the lube will be in the large groove, the check will be ~ .070 tall which only leaves a sliver of lube in that back groove. I agree copper checks are expensive, but I will be offering my 44 cal Aluminum checks with a mold purchase for $22 per thousand.

If the crimp grooves will be deeper than the horrid crimp grooves on a lee bullet especially their first 310 gr RNFP-GC I will take a 2 cavity plain base. If the crimp grooves aren't any better I will stick with the Lee that I have. Be sure to let me know as if they are better I want a mold.

The crimp grooves are deeper and more pronounced than the Lee mold. I'll add you to the list, you can just update to confirm you want one and what size you would like.

I'll take one in .460 and one in .432. Both 2-cavity.

Would they both take the same gc's?
