    Trimming 22LR Hulls-What to use?

For those of you looking for consistency and uniformity of your 22LR hulls, what do you use to trim them to size?

For weights under 55 grains I trim after core seating with a case trimmer. Pilot used as a stop on seated lead. Extend pilot, increase hollow point. Simple and cheap but time consuming.

Clodhopper- Field expediency, use what ya got. I never got around to making a more "professional" looking one. Total out of pocket cost....$0.00. Bottom line...it works.

    Yeah! the elegant simplicity.
That case will not slip gripped in that...is it UHMW?

I think the first three words are right, we used to use it at a sawmill I worked at for wear plate. It was dense, slick plastic, similar in color to your gripper, I still have a few scraps around here salvaged from the garbage.
