I don't really know Payson well (I only live two hours north) but I do know it gets busy on the summer. Lots of people escaping the heat on the weekends. I'm up for anything never been picky so why start now. Just let me know a time and place and I'll be there.

so can we get a consensus -
    B) breakfast or
    L) lunch?

    Nominations for eateries
    1) Beeline Cafe (good food but always busy)
    2) Tiny's (no experience)
    3) Jourghans (one recommendation)
    4) buffalo wing bar & grill (chain rest.)

After getting up real early last time to drive up for breakfast I'd vote
    L) Lunch - and I'd like to try Jourghans as I've never been

Sorry, just found out we have to be in California that weekend. Not what I want to do, but I just can't seem to get out of it.

Lunch at Jourghans sounds like a plan.

Well......we may have made a mistake waiting this long until next weekend! The 10 day forecast for Payson is 40-80% rain EVERY DAY thru next Sunday the 13th. Not good for us. Good for the fire danger! They need rain up there.

We need to keep an eye on this. But if it is that rainy and muddy, I will not drive....and probably will not even attend. That road back to the range is a mud road as we learned the last time.

Only time and the weatherman will tell!

Larry the range is at the end of a road with small amount of gravel over clay and if the conditions are too wet they will not open up the range (which is gated)

Actually after 120+ days with no rain - I'd fore go shooting to wet everything down around here to reopen all the shooting spots and I could get back out to my 1000 yard range to see if my latest changes did me any good.

Well I know I'll be there, what time though I have no clue but I'm pushing for 9am. Living on solar and pumping water is taking up a lot of time when it takes me over 15hrs to water. Afternoon cloud build ups are nice and all but sucks for power, so casting anything hasn't been done for me to make loads to use at the range. Not to mention that what power I do get is used up converting brass. Seems I'll need to bring j-words (YUCK) and use those when I get there. Haven't been to a range in over 40yrs so this is going to be a learning experience for me.

Artful, to bad you live waaaaayyyy over there, around here I have a 4 mile range out the front door (Literally).
