Expensive powder that doesn't do anything other powders do.
    Just my 2 cents.

Disagree, it is the cleanest burning powder I have ever tried and with only needing 4 grains of VV310 with a 230 grain round nose out of my 45 acp's I can get 1,750 loads per pound. Well worth the money.

I agree with your disagree - I also like VV N310 in 45ACP, except I use 4.3 grains with a 185 grain zero bullet for a clean burn and superb accuracy at the 25 & 50 yard line. I use N350 for the 230 & 265 grain bullets in 45 ACP, N340 for the 45 Colt, N110 will match H110 all day long without the sharp "snap" and N120 does a might better than IMR4227 and is a whole lot cleaner on both low and high velocity loads.

But - CHS has a point in that other powders might match VV in performance & accuracy in most firearms but isn't that much more expensive, if any at all, then other powders when you consider the charge weight to achieve your goal. I purchase my VV from powder Valley in quantity and find the cost very reasonable for my shooting. And VV powder is extremely difficult to find today.

I've bought v150 in two pound cans before. Although, I just saw some other VV powders at my LGS in one pound cans.
I was a dog on a short chain.
    Now there's no chain.

You're right in that they don't do what other powders do. Which is why you can clean your firearm a lot leas when using VV powders. Single base powders are more expensive to produce but they have some advantages. I can get all I want locally but have plenty of powder so I will let others buy it up.
