OK, I really wish I had 6 of your casts and a sizer die, then I can make sure it works.
I haven't so we will do this the hard way.. drop one of your casts into the nose of your resizing die and let me know how much protrudes from the die.
This distance will be how high the cast is sitting when the slide tries to withdraw out of the way of the decending punch in the ram.
Or post me 6 casts and a sizing die and I will make it all work for you. The die will be returned obviously.

Hatch thank you for the offer to lend a die and casts, that will make life much much easier on me.
I will PM address to you..
Now I can either, hold your AS/2 until I have tested it out with the die, or send it after the Xmas silliness is over and build another to test on. If I send it, you can still use it for all the pistol stuff and also short rifle.
Any changes or mods required I can send the bitz with your die when returned.
Let me know which way you want to run with this..
Mike.

Just hold it for now. I don't really need it so it would be another gadget on the shelf

I bought some 308 dies of Jerrard today he is going to ship then with other stuff I ordered, saves the chance of you loosing your dies in transport either here or back to you.
Send some casts if you can 6 will do, although not up on the legalities of doing that. I have some 308 coming but they are only 180gn, still it will help with the rifle development.. somewhere you noted the length of your 240gn casts... will try and find that post.

Hello all, Mike I received the GM unit today and it looks great. You did a great job on the packaging on it. I have not received the AS/2 yet. If I remember you still need the money for the GM shipping. Please let me know how much and I will send it via PayPal. Thanks for everything.
Good to hear!!. The as/2 and the GM were handed over on the same day to the contractor.. that's why the boxes say 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. Give it a day or two, if it dosen't turn up we take it further. But take heart we havemt lost one in postage yet!!
GM freight was $81.
Happy new year..

$81 doesn't sound too bad if it was to the USA. I have sent a few annealing machine blades over there from here and shipping has always cost more than the part does.
