Going to PC some boolits this weekend

I was looking for a toaster oven to cure the boolits and was not having any luck finding one that was not new or in good shape. We moved to a different building today at work and they had a working toaster oven that was being thrown away. The plant manager said that I could have it so I am going to try some 9mm and .45 ACP this weekend with HF red and HF white using the dry tumble method.

Good luck! If it isn't a convection style toaster oven beware of possible hot spots. I've had real good results with HF red, not sure about the white. Pictures will be needed after the fact

Yes......if it is not a convection style, you can possibly have those hot and cold spots. Many (as I) have had experience setting the dial at 400 and melting boolits over the elements!!!!! I threw away 2 standard ovens B4 I spend $100 or so on a nice conv oven. Perfect temp and perfect bake.

Get an oven thermometer to check the temp. Most likely that oven's temp will be all over the place and will NOT be 400f as the dial says.

Use non-stick foil ONLY!.....or you will spend a lot of time trying to pick standard foil off the bottoms of your boolits. Spend the extra $$ for non-stick!

Good luck with that junker oven!
