    Half PC coated?

Will this cause any issues? Bullets have PC up to .304 so none of the exposed lead should ride on the barrel.
    Its 300 black
    So I finally built a 300 black.

    And it matches my JK

Why? What is the purpose of coating only the bottom half? Is is much easier just to coat the whole thing. I do it all the time. Granted the nose should NOT be contacting the rifling, but it is more work to NOT coat the front half than the whole thing using all the methods I use and have seen on here.

Any gained accuracy or anything worth the while of ruining a few cases?

50 cases on a 2x4, push them in, spray, bake and twist out. They don't fall over and the bottom is coated. Some powder savings I would guess.

Now I get it, at first I thought that was a 30 cal wadcutter.
The case is the "mask" for coating, and the stand.
An innovative way to hold the boolits base up.
Should work fine but if it was me I would just coat the whole boolit.
I tumble-coat, then bake base down on nonstick foil, the base gets coated too,
has to be easier. The boolits pop right off the foil.
From what I've seen the base probably doesn't need coating anyway.

PS: green boolits would match the gun!
PPS: Is that a Chevy JK? Never saw one before.

The extra nose diameter has given me a little trouble getting a saeco 315 to chamber in 308. Is that what you are trying to avoid? To me this seems easier than the nose sizing solutions.
