Boil em..... hard. It'll float up and harden on the surface when the water cools, and you just can lift it off then. Then dry em and give em a swirl in the lacquer thinner to get any trace oils and finger grease off em.

I'll give that a shot. thanks
And oh yeah... do it in a coffee can or gallon bean can or something old that you aren't going to cook with anymore. It makes a mess on the inside rim of whatever you boil it in.

I had several hundred cast bullets that I had lubed and ready to go, that was until I started PC'ing. Not waiting to waste any good bullets, I boiled them in a cheap pot from the thrift store. I boiled with the water level well above the bullets to keep from recontaminating them with the floating wax. I used a paint stir stick to agitate them and sifted off the floating wax the best I could. Then when I felt they were wax-free I moved the whole pot with the bullets still in to a safe place (off the stove, preferably outside) and added cool water to let the wax flow over the side of the pot. Then I poured out the bullets and rinsed in acetone to remove anything left. Did it work? For the most part it did. It was a lot of work to do several hundred bullets this way and I still got the occasional bullet the did not cover with PC, because of a small spot of residual wax. Would I do it again, no. I would re-cast and start with new casted lead. I figure the time I spent, I could have melted and recast and not have to worry about residual spots of wax. That's just my opinion.
