You need to have at least 25 posts to be able to post anything in the swapping n selling area. Keeps the riff-raff out.

You need to wait 30 days and make 25 posts that arent wasted (hi - jus me- junk like that) and then youll be all set to post. It is like that so the site knows your just not a spammer or only using the site for $$$. Look around the forums and read post make some comments and questions and youll be all set. Or you can contribute to the site with a membership to help the site.
Because of past problems with persons joining just to sell items and ripping off members, then disappearing in the past. Look at the stickies in S&S to see some examples of such persons. They even joined several times in this and other forums under different names. It's for your protection and mine.
If you read the rules, then you know why you can't post. If you want to know the reason for the rules, it is just like living with your parents. They make the rules and they don't have to have a reason.
