LGS had powder for the first time in months, picked up the last 2 lbs of 3031
1680.....first bottle I've seen for a long time. Bought IMR4198 at the Sacramento gun show two weeks ago for $21.95 per pound. Just like the old days, sort of anyway.
Hopelessly afflicted with a life long addiction to the rifled bore!
Two things always make me smile, powder smoke wafting down the firing line and the ring of a Garand clip hitting the ground.
AA 9, just 1 pound.
Picked up a pound of AA 1680. Layed eyes on HP38/231WIN which was the last of the fast powders I have not seen in person in the past year. Also noticed some VV Tin Star, had been several years since I seen any of it. Vihtavuori seems to be importing a lot of powder again. Between two stores a saw every type I think.
This is what I scored today, with about 14 ounces left!
I have some WAP in the same style tins! I love old powder.

Ugh I missed it! darn its a great powder.
Some 800X and Longshot. Bought a 10mm and needed powders to feed it. Had $50 in Cabela's cash so it cost me a whole $2.98 Was hoping they had Blue Dot but I knew they wouldn't.
Two pounds WSF, one pound HP38.
I picked up a pound of H414 at local scheels on sale for $21.99. Marked down from $24.99. Lots of blue dot and unique also on sale.
Local Wally World had IMR 4350 and 4064 in stock. Grabbed the last 2 lbs of IMR 4350 for $24.87 each. Now to load some .243 Win with it.
Stopped by the LGS today looking for 1 lb of Alliant Varmint, but found they had 8 lb kegs of both Green Dot and Red Dot in stock at $179. $220 or so later and I have 8 lbs of Red Dot, and one more lb of Varmint.
2lbs of Ramshot Big Game for my model of 1917 Remington 30-06 loads.

I was at FleetFarm (Chaska, MN) today. They display empty smokeless powder containers, and you have to ask for it. There "shelf" indicated they had Accurate #5 in stock for $22. I ask the clerk at the gun counter to see if she could find some in back, she comes back empty handed and mentions there is a truck that's being unloaded, but no ammo or such has been unloaded yet, and she said there probably isn't any.
I continue to look around the sporting goods area, they have some cheap camo 10x25 Barska bino's on sale for $9.99. I check them out, and decide to buy a pair, about 10 minutes pass from her first search, she now walks up to me with (2) one lbers of AA#5 and asked if I wanted them both...You bet I do
They also got in AA#7
