Got the last 4 lb. jug of Ramshot Silhouette at the old price, $114 out the door.

She told me the next Ramshot shipment is supposed to go up 20%...

Picked up a 1lb bottle of Vihtavouri N320 today from my local supplier. He ordered it in for me. $51+tax, I feel robbed after paying $30 for a 1lb bottle of TiteGroup from him just a few weeks ago(before his current shipment went up in price). Oh well. Guess I’ll skip dinner and breakfast, I have a couple pounds to lose anyhow !

N540 was $55/lb today. The Berger bullets I use were also $55/100.

Accurate 2015 which is a single base powder. I loaded it in my .32 Miller Short CBA bench rest rifle and 17.5 grains almost filled the case...no danger of a double charge. Using a 206g cast bullet I got 1470 fps.The pressure based on smoke old published by Accurate before they sold out to Hodgon the pressure was only around 21000 psi. It shot some bug hold groups.

A month ago picked up a 8 pound jug of 7828 SSC. It is mainly for two new rifles I purchased (300 and 340 Weatherby). Last week noticed 8 pound jugs of Varget were in stock at Powder Valley so bought one. Then in the last 3 days bought a 8 pound jug of N133 and one of N135. I am now tapped out for awhile, lol.

Went to a gun show today. Got a good deal on two cans of powder An Alliant Hercules Red Dot that doesn't have any red dots in it; smells fine and the consistency is perfect so it has been stored well. Newer plastic bottle. 2 lbs for $50.

    And a 3/4 bottle of Hybred 100. $30.
Set of 6.5 Creed dies, and a couple round ball molds.
When did they start putting Red Dots in the Alliant Powder? This is not flake powder I think this was made when the were still grinding up wood for the Nitro -cellulose ? Any how going to load in for 38 Special (starting low)

I'd be kind of leery of "Red Dot powder with no red dots.

I would be cautious with this powder. Start min -10% and use a Chrono.

I finally found a 1 lb. bottle of H110 locally, so I did not have to pay hazmat and shipping on it. Or at least my son in law bought it for me. $40.00 is a lot better than $115.00. Still more than double what I paid for the last bottle. At least I can load for the 410 shotgun now. james

    2# AA4350 @ $39.90/ea. As a sidenote IMR 4350 was $66.00 per lb. I have a Rem. 700 in .30-06 that thrives on the Accurate version.

It was my lucky day. I filled my neighbors gas tank on his toyota car today and he gave me a 8# jug of sr4759. Cost me 26 dollars. (smile)
