I didn't buy any powder but I did buy a Rossi R92 44 Mag 20, a set of Lee 44Mag dies and 1000 large pistol primers.
Accurate #2 in 5 pound jug and Hodgdon Lil Gun in 4 pound gallon jug.
I needed a medium burn rate powder for several different medium size rifle cartridges….
1#of IMR 4064 to the rescue…..still less than a tank of gas

Since Unique is nonexistent around here, I have looked for a close-enough replacement. Yesterday I bought a one pound can of Accurate #5 just to try it out. We'll see how it does.

Picked up a couple lbs of H869, something new for the coming 7mmRM and then some...
W231 was on the shelf but now it’s mine.
The sun popped out for a while today. The wife and I drove to Eugene. Looked around the thrift stores for pewter, nada. Went to my favorite "quality" second hand store. Picked up one vintage sealed can of Dupont 4227. Another of the same vintage, Dupont 4895. One sealed plastic bottle of Accurate #7, and a full 1 lb. tube bottle of 2400. Price averaged 27.50 ea. Although I didn't need any of these powders (right now) I've come to the conclusion that componants of our hobby, may get really scarce, if not impossible to purchase, and priced way out of reach for the average reloading hobbyist.
If a 41 won't stop it, I wouldn't bet my life on a 44.

I bought a pound of IMR 4227 today because I am running out of the quantity I purchased in 1989.
Ordered a pound of Benchmark from Cabelas with their 15% off Mondays for club members through December. Was around $42 if I remember. I have to pick it up on the way past the store later this week. I also bought 2 pounds of H4895 from them last week with the same discount along with my built up points. Paid fourteen cents out of pocket for 2 pounds! Lol
