Those propellants at American Reloaders are intriguing. I notice that they differentiate them somewhat by different calibers. I guess that it might be based on what caliber the propellants were pulled from. Their listing data for only one caliber per propellant makes me wonder about their interchangeability.
The 45 ACP powder #5 seems to be a direct substitute for Alliant Bullseye. The others, especially the 9mm propellants, seem more difficult to characterize. All the data is for 115 gr. projectiles, and none of the loads listed exceeded 1200 f/s, so they seem quite fast-burning. I'm STILL interested, though.

Hodgdon H110 Smokeless Powder 1 Lb
Ramshot Enforcer Smokeless Handgun Powder (4 Lbs)
VihtaVuori N340 Smokeless Pistol Powder 1 Lb
VihtaVuori N110 Smokeless Rifle Powder 1 Lb
VihtaVuori N135 Smokeless Rifle Powder 1 Lb

Taking a risk on 4lb of Enforcer, but it was relatively affordable and I expect it to work fine in 357. The VV 1lb samples are for testing and evaluation.

Yeah, I've been holding off for a little bit, but I just pulled the trigger on a jug of the "9mm lot 13."

I don't really need pistol powder right now, but I know if I don't get powder for $18.50/# delivered I'd be kicking myself in a few months or years.

16 pounds of 2400 from Midsouth. Worked out to $31.25 per pound after shipping and Hazmat.

I don't use much .223 ammo but my first, and most liked, Ramshot X-Terminator was in the lower of prices at Cabelas. I grabbed a lb for $32.

Got a couple of lbs of Reloder 7 at the Ace Hardware in Spokane on Division. They seem to have a pretty good supply of Hornady bullets too.

Unique. Never tried it before...saw that many love it for many things so bought some to try.

I used Quickload to search for how much powder it would take to get 1120 fps from a 4" barrel 9mm with a 115 gr bullet.

The closest powders in terms of a ~6.1 gr charge (9mm #6, #7 & #8) were Power Pistol, HS-6 and Longshot. However, the pressures predicted were a lot lower than the info posted by the seller.

They also currently show a "MP-180". Charge of 5.2 for 1100 fps for a 115 gr 9mm. This would seem to be slower than Unique, faster than Herco. Being called "stick" I am thinking an out of spec (slower) version of 231/HP-38. Cost per lb is higher than for the 9mm ball powders, but you would use less.

Got a lb. of shooter's world Match rifle and a lb. of shooters world Buffalo Rifle from the local Scheels for 26.99 and 34.99. Its nice to be able to buy some shooter's world powders off the shelf I have been wanting to try some but wasn't willing to pay Hazmat to have it shipped

purchased some BR-5 from GIbrass - Bartlett Reloaders.

here is description from website :

BR-5 Recently acquired. Brand new, current production. This is a double-based ball
type powder, originally intended for 9x19mm ammo. Meters very consistently.
Burning rate is similar to Hercules Unique, which data can be used. Additional
data available on request. Clean burning with consistent results.
This is new powder, not pulldown.

Went ahead and ordered a lb of Sta ball from Cabelas with their 10%off today for club members and ships to store for pickup for free. Was about $36 plus sales tax.

Swapped a lb of H110 for a lb of BE via the Carolina Firearms Forum. The gentleman was only a 15 mile drive and 30 minute ferry ride away.

I got 5 pounds of Unique at Powder Valley on Monday evening I think it was.
I almost fell over when I saw they had some!

Powder and primers are out there but you really have to look for them sometimes.

Visiting some friends for a wedding in North Texas. Wife and I stopped by the LGS. Went straight to the powder shelves and behold; Winchester WSF. It was a find to me, as I’ve recently started reloading 9mm/cast boolits. My test loads were with WSF as I had it on hand and use it for 45ACP, too.
