Brownells has some of the accurate powders on sale still. I guess the free hazmat was a 1 day deal. I have an edge membership for shipping. I do not remember the coupon code used, but it was $20 off $200.

I need to venture over there again and get some SW powder. I like the Match and AR Plus so far and I’m willing to try another SW type.
Hodgdon, Alliant, Accurate, IMR and Winchester are all $40-60 a lb @ my LGS.

Picked up another pound of 231, to up my stash, plus a brick of CCI SPP. I tend to prefer Federal's, but figured that the CCI box takes up half the room in the storage closet
I'm wondering if the CCI primers might be a little safer, for priming on the press? Thoughts? Dillon 550C likely in my future.
On another note, called my local mom n pop LGS just for giggles, and scored a brick of Federal LRP yesterday, couldn't have asked for a better birthday present ! $89, I was dumbfounded!
Now I can start loading for 30-30 and 45-70.

At the local Academy yesterday, I was scanning the reloading components and on one of their rolling trays were Winchester Large pistol primers. Just for the heck of it, I scanned the brick under their price scanner, and, holy mackerel!, $39.90 per brick! Welll............. y’all know what took place next! ( they don’t have any left lol)

The lesson here is, I guess, ALWAYS scan the whole bricks instead of the individual packs. SPP was $7.99 per 100 pack, so........

    At MidSouth I got 3lbs (4 - 12oz bottles) of Nitro 100 and 1lb of Reloder-16 ... which I paid too much for ... with a free shipping code.

Also hit Brownell's for 1lb of BE-86 (never tried it) and 1lb of LeverEvolution as well as 1K CCI #450 SR-mag primers. It was free Hazmat day plus I had a 10% off coupon so it wasn't "horrible".

I expect we're going to see more and more powder supplied in 4lb containers as people choke on the price of the Alliant stuff in 8lb jugs. Who'd have thought VV would become the economical choice.

I'm finally trying Hodgdon's Leverevolution. Brownell sent an email with Free HazMat for this weekend only. I clicked on it and it showed LE in 8lb jugs for $250 but WITH HazMat. I got out of the website and just went direct to Brownell not using the email link. The Free HazMat offer worked then but price of the powder jumped back up to the current $339 for 8lbs. I quickly went back to the email and got the $250 price and gladly paid HazMat. $317 total. I'm looking forward to what I can do with my 32 Special using this powder.
