is mid south shooters supply still there?

tornados ripped though our state yesterday leaving devastating destruction especially in clarksville, home to mid south shooters supply.
golf ball size hail is no joke, mid south is about 200 miles west and I lucked out with just a few minutes of dime size hail.

Hope they are ok. One of a half dozen reputable outfits I deal with. Prayers to all affected.

I'm sure if something happened we'd see a notice on their front page that they're temporarily out of business...

Just received a reply from MidSouth and they are fine after a scary experience. They will put a notice on their main page soon. They appreciated the concern.

I just bought an electronic powder scale measure from them a few days ago. Not here yet but I think it had already made it out of the state.

My Lee Perfect Powder measure ......isn't. I had it set for 3.5 and I was getting anywhere from 3.2 to 4, so time for something better.

Two friends in Clarksville and my Sister in Spring Hill are fine.
    Everything just missed them.
Seems like there are lots of storms in that area lately.
    Is that common????

It is common enough that it was the basis for the Wizard Of Oz! And that was in the 30's and it's only gotten worse and spread east.

Wasn't the basis for the Wizard of Oz a tornado in the 1820's or 1830's that touched down in Arkansas or Missouri, and left the ground 3 days later in Illinois or Indiana? That and the earthquake that formed Reelfoot lake in about the same timeframe got folks thinking that Armegeddon was a very real possibility.

Consider that a tornado does a lot of damage to a relatively small area. No matter where you are it is likely to miss you. A Hurricane does massive damage over a large area. If you are anywhere near you will be involved. You would be much better moving to Tennessee/Kentucky than you would be moving to Hampton Roads.
