    Nose down bullet feeder

Rick sent me a video of how the nose down adapter works. He said 6 are being beta tested now and are all working.

    Video of how it works.

I gave up on making my own and ordered one today. It will ship as a nose up and he will have a different output plate that will convert it to nose down later. This way I can load tubes for now and then directly feed the star when the part is available. Currently he has 6 people beta testing the nose down version.

I saw the video of nose down about a year ago. I asked if they were ready to ship and was told the same story. When I ordered another Mr. Bullet Feeder last month I tried to get the nose down conversion, I even sent in some dimensions of the bullets I was using and was told I would be good to go. However, things don't seem to be moving along as fast as we would like.

I am getting close to making my own conversion plate. For now I flip the tubes when they are full.

Same here, I told him over a year ago I had over 22,000 47gr hornet boolits to size and lube. I'm still waiting for one too.

I went with a rotating drum to flip mine but back then I used a collator design more like the MA Systems. Now that I build mine like the KISS style I might make one for my sizer, if I ever get too bored. Hate to mess with something that works though.

Nose down would be better if ever released.

I called him last month and was told that he was retired and only worked on it occasionally. I've been waiting for 2 years now. Not going to hold my breath. It might never come.

Isn't there anyone else who could machine those modified nose down guides? It looks like a pretty simple design, I have some pretty detailed photos of it. Need to ask Rick for permission before posting them I guess.

His lawyers shut down the Crimson "kits" for his collators. I imagine a business adventure would be stopped.

Here is one a fellow member converted (the new double alpha version).
