    Finally Going to try it

Finally got off dead center, made the mould and wrapped some Boolits, as cast dia is .399, wrapped to .4085 with 9# 25% cotton onion skin.
60 grs Goex Ctg, Poly wad. Boolit in the case .150.
Th rifle has a long throat in it and leads terrible if the boolit doesn't fit properly.

Some pic's. the rifle is a CPA with 1-16 Badger barrel chambered in 40-60 Maynard, brass is made from RP 30-40 Krag brass.

...............Very impressive looking work all around. The rifle is obviously heirloom quality. A friend has a Stevens 44 1/2 in 22 RF and it looks like new. Your loaded cartridges with all that patched boolit sticking out there certainly looks 'Period" .

Did you say you made the mould? Could you discribe the particulars (not that I want much, heh)?

Scope is a J.W.Fecker, as are the mounts.

Thanks for your reply I have only just come onto this forum , Andrew 375 recommmended it to me . That is so similar to my PH scope , which went into production in 1939 ,would you happen to know what this scope is , I was told it was a Fecker , I recently bought it on eb@y .

There arent any markings on it that I can find I think it must be about a 15x with a fine cross hair . You see it as I bought it , not had a chance to even test it out yet , it should be going on the BSA MkII but I had a competition a couple of weeks ago , so I didnt want to start changing things around .
