You better be careful, btroj. I'd hate for you to get a nasty PM.

    Cookies...yawn?

    No, cookies....nom nom nom

Now the book, it is good reading. A diet coke and some cookies go well with that.

Oops, I didn't know she was on the forum?

At least I didn't comment on southerners?

Warm, chewy oatmeal raisin cookies and really cold Dr. Pepper. Or a good, old-fashioned glass of not-too-cold Promise Land whole milk and some still-chewy, day-old brownies. Or pumpkin bread and either of the above, or with a warm cup of really strong coffee.

Raisins? Yuck. Always looks like there are bugs in the cookies. Oatmeal cookies with butterscotch chips!

Hey Waco, is it ok for us to feud over cookies?

I have a very poor ability to ignore things like that. My mind always goes for those comments and sadly my mouth is faster than my mind......

Ever said something then thought "dang, that sounded like my voice"

It was sort of like watching a train wreck about to happen: Inevitable progression of events. Speaking of train wrecks, it appears that our Serial Rater is back again and doomed this thread to three stars.

    Back to 4.

Hadn't noticed the rating, until LL mentioned them in his thread I never even looked at the ratings.

    Hey rintin,
I, like you, found the search function to be broken as well so sent a request to Wiljen. He sent me this link to paste into the "browser" instead of going directly thru this site. Here it is and it works like this site used to!

https://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=0...69:ggn3vg-bjum This will get you where you want to go. When I get a snotty answer, I just turn those guys on ignore. It's a trick I learned in the Submarine Paratroopers.

I'm still thinking of a good comeback. It's hard to toss out female relative jokes to old people.

    Did someone call me old?

I figured it was a risky comment but I went for it. You always seem to have a good sense of humor and sure as heck aren't thin skinned.

    I suppose the fact I don't have a sister makes a difference?

Eh. I am middle aged. Now there are some geezers in here and they would call me "sonny".

I'm not old, just experienced. Now Run, he is old.

Ummm. Middle aged is 29-39. 40+ is old...at this time. Ask me in 11 years or so and I'll tell you that old age starts in the 50's.

No, old is the age of my parents. People my age are middle aged. People my kids age are young.
