Lurker no more. Actually I just found the site while searching for the answer to a cast boolit sizing question. I started reloading with a Lee Loader and a hammer, jacketed bullets only. Now am looking to cast for 41 mag, 40S&W , 45LC, and maybe venture into some 6.5mm stuff in the future.

..It was about time to join your group. Not very savy with
computers. So I may need a little help. Starter casting about
45 years ago. 30 years ago I traded for 2 tons of Linotype. Down
to about 900 lbs. now, hope to shoot it all up by age of 80.
I did cast 400 H&G 68 today.

Hello! Just decided to become a "real boy" and join. I've been trying to learn and get started in bullet casting (sorry, just can't quite get used to "boolit" yet). So far, I've only gotten as far as melting down some range lead. Thanks for the info and help!

New here. Tried casting years ago and had trouble with the worn out Star sizer I had. Sold it off but now I'm looking to get started back. Just got a new Lyman 4500 and some cast unsized in .44,.45 and .357 to work with. I already have a pot since I pour fishing stuff.
I've been impressed with some of the home built stuff. Looking forward to learning,
