My step dad passed tonight at the age of 91 , he was a marine in ww2
He supplied the troops with ammo in the pacific theatre,he outlived all his friends and family and I thought it only fair that mention of him should be somewhere, he was a quiet and generous man.and never asked anything from anybody, may god welcome him home.

My respects to your Dad, without the sacrifices made by men like him throughout the WW2 Pacific campaigns, Australia would not be the place it is today.

I am sorry for your loss there aren't to many WW2 members left. I know how you feel I jus lost my Uncle he was Korea.
