    Frank Wesson 44 Rimfire

Anyone ever see a Frank Wesson 44? Years ago a relative passed away and the family was feuding over his possesions. They all finally agreed they would take everything to the local landfill, guns and all.
My fathers younger brother started playing with one of the rifles and everyone decided to let him keep it as a toy. Later while he was serving in Vietnam my grandparents let me carry it around pretending I was shooting bad guys, I was four or five. The rifle hangs on his wall these days and luckily neither one of us put a scratch on it in our younger years. It looks identical to the one at Cabela's, including the sights but his has 99% of bluing.
