    Tin alturnative for fill out?

Is there a cheaper alturnative to tin to get good mold fill out I antimony and arsenic do a great job for hardening on the cheap compared to tin but I am having a little trouble casting the noe311-247 with range scrap figure I need some more tin but hate paying for it...

Specifically, more heat in the MOULD. Run it at 4-5 pours per minute with 725 degree alloy. When the boolits begin to have a very light, satin "frost" from nose to base (may take five minutes or more at that pace if starting with a cold mould), you're hot enough. TIME YOUR POURS, don't guess.

Pre-heat your mold on a hotplate cranked way up or use a propane torch.

I always run my molds hot and the fill hotter. I like frosted bollits because I powder coat every one and the powder has a "tooth" to hold on better with a frosted surface.

Tin is nice. There are many sources of it, but prices have gone thru the roof recently. I used to buy small ingots of it at the local hobby store to cast tin solders when I was a kid......$0.25 for a pound!

    Woops.......letting my age slip again!
