Anybody around an hour from New Orleans? I am looking to get some hands on experience in casting. I have cast over a thousand boolits, and with the help of Skimmerhead, I have smelted a few hundred pounds of lead.
I'm not completely comfortable with my casting and was hoping someone with more experience would let me sit in on a casting session.

Contact me when the weather gets cooler. I only cast when the weather is cool because I can't run the AC and the casting pot in my shop without popping the breaker. Live in Slidell.
