where to buy. 224, 55 or 60 gr bullet mould for shooting in semi-auto

Any help would be appreciated, looking to get away from jacketed boolits to cast for shooting in my ar-15 and benelli mr1. Both shoot 223 rem and I reload jacketed booliits now. The price is very high for boolits and cannot get lakecity up in Canada. I was looking at lee for moulds as I use them now with my handguns, but no luck for the 224. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Check out www.noebulletmoulds.com. They have several .224 molds. I use the 70 grain in my AR (LMT) with no problems. Good luck.

I have good luck with Lyman #225646 in my bolt gun and 1:9 twist AR with 223 REM SAMI chamber. Mine weighs close to 60 grains. I do use at least 2% tin to help fill out the thin bands in the nose. Sized to .225” with a Lyman 4500. Bullet cast right around .225 and a couple tenths for me. I use a ladle with spout and pressure pour to get a good casting every time. I use a Lyman M die to expand case necks.

I think, like many, that the 70 grain NOE would make achieving cycle function in an AR simpler. But both my AR’s with 20” barrels cycle with 14.5 grains of H-4198 and the 60 grain bullet. Last shot hangs the bolt on the mag follower not back of mag like it’s suppose to. A little slower powder would cure that. H-Benchmark , AA 4064, 4895 or whatever stick powder in that range you have or can find.
