Looks like he has logged on today. He more than likely has a full time job and is doing this so he is a busy man I am sure.

Many of us checking the swaging forum are anxious for the day when our package arrives from BTSniper.
The less time he spends messaging the more time he has for his kids and making parts.

Every day, I peer in the real mailbox hopefully...

He's trying to get dies out right now. Give him some time. He will get to you.

Brian is a one man shop. Granted he's brilliant, but still a one man shop. He is working on a huge order of nitride dies that just came back. Each one must be reassembled, polished internally and tested, then packed and shipped. Glad it's him and not me.

He was on about 9:45 Eastern last night.

He's OK, or we will hear otherwise in fairly short order.

The man is some busy working on folk's die orders, from what I hear, and I believe it.

Most of us have been waiting 8m + now, a few weeks, hopefully, isn't going to matter much.

I would love to have the .40 & .45 swaging dies with all the goodies but I just can't get myself to pay and then wait 8 - 12 months for delivery...

While not trying to start an argument...has anyone ever looked at Corbin's turn-around time? It's at least 1.5 to 2 years. And that's even if they take your order at all...They only like to serve people who buy their presses with all the goodies. I, as well as the next guy, want my dies so I can start swaging but quality does take time, especially for a one-man show (with his quality).

I have. I bought a bunch from them, about $9k worth recently (if it all ever gets here).

Took them a month to ship what they "had in stock". The rest is on back order. Couldn't even get straight info on what was in stock (told it was, yet it wasn't).

Truth is, nobody in this business is quick.

It's low volume, small operations. Every bit of it.

So, they get back logged quickly. Since, they're small, they can't justify the cost of tracking it better and getting it out quicker.

Now, I'm not even close to complaining. Just stating that this is how it is.

Pay them double, they can probably get it right out. They won't be gouging either. Simply put, want it fast? Then pay for the convenience.

Now, you can get it fast, cheap or right. You can get 2 of the 3, but not all 3. Which 2 do you want? I'll settle for reasonable cost and right. I see Dryball pretty much agrees with me. I went with Corbin to use the S press and dies, but not for everything. The stuff using regular reloading type dies, I buy from guys like BTSniper. Delivery time is OK, and the stuff does what I want it to too. Not just less expensive, it's BETTER.

One reason I recommend BT's dies. I only have part of the dies needed, but quality is high & Brian is CS oriented if you have a problem. I am sure the final dies will be worth the wait. I'm not going anywhere for the for seeable future.

That is certainly good news. What dies were in your delivery?

I am sure BT has been busy as it looks like he received a substantial shipment of dies back from treatment and is working on final assembly and shipment. I am optimistic there will be a delivery to my address in the near future to complete my order.

Like everyone else,I`m hoping to get a call/pm soon that mine are ready. Got the balance in my hot little hands & will probably drive over to pick them up. He`s only 4-5 hours away,a nice ride on the bike & have to pass a casino in the process. Works for me. Don.

Yep still here, not spending as much time on the site as I would like. I reached a point that I was pretty deep with orders and for nearly the last two months I have been focusing 100% of my available time in the shop finishing up back orders.

Rest assured I have received everyone's email's, PMs, and phone calls and I will return them just as soon as I can. I am aware of everyone's orders and will be finishing them up just as soon as possible. I'm still working on orders placed last year and things are really starting to come together very nicely.

Thank you for your understanding on my need to spend time in the shop completing orders. Please be patient and I will return all inquires just as soon as I can. Please feel free to continue to send me friendly inquires. I realize all it would take is a simple couple minute call or few words in a PM for a reply but next thing you know....... well I really need to catch up on quite a few orders and that takes time in the shop.

Got some simple new videos to post on the use of the 22 cal dies. Also sent out a 22 cal core seat and point form die today to a member here with zip code of 38017, it was perfect and should be there Friday, hope it was worth his long wait, I certainly think highly of how they turned out. I'll be looking into a simple thread I can post in my vendor page to keep you all updated as to sent orders.

Again, rest assured, everything is going very well. The dies are perfect and coming together, just takes time. Sorry I am behind in my correspondences but I will get back to you all, got to first finish up some dies that others have been waiting quite a while for.

    Thanks

    Good shooting and Swage On!

I took BT 6 weeks to deliver my 40 S&W dies. It is a well made precision instrument that cannot be rushed. It is worth the wait.
