What's a fair price for these ingot's?

The snow's gone(for now) so I decided to take these out of the back of my jeep. I was using them for weight.





I had them analized awhile ago, their Sn 89,Sb 75. and Cu 3.5
I looked on the Rotometal's site and found this exact alloy,

Their price seem's a little bit on the pricy side, so I was wondering if I were to sell them here what a fair price would be.
Shipping would be the killer of any deal.

More than likely anyone buying them from here will be paying Rotometal's price. I've looked at those but never pushed the button. If you want to undercut Rotometal go ahead, but that is your baseline.

Do you have anything like the USPS Priority Mail boxes in Canada? 70lbs shipps same price.

You might find out what your scrap yard would pay you and compare that to shipping it to one person within the US. Although shipping into the US from Canada would be very expensive, there might be enough of a difference to undercut Rotometals by shipping it to one person and then allowing them to piece it out while using FRBs. The profit might be slim, but it would be worth looking into. Just a thought. Good luck.

from Canada, you are looking at 60.00 minimum to ship and another 6-10.00 in customs cost maybe more,

you guys are loosing site of the fact that this is tin not lead. IF its the same as the link he provided its almost pure tin

I brought a bar into a local scrap yard and had them shoot it with their analisis gun and the percentage's I posted aboue are what came up.
I had them do it on a couple place's on the bar to make sure it was consistant.
The smaller bar's are what I've melted for myself, and next I'm going to remelt and pour them into 1/2 and 1 oz sinker mold size's so I can add to the pot a bit more accurately.

Id post them in the selling section for Canada local only deal. There are several on here and you might find someone who you will make really happy too !! Ya never know when vacationing casters might drive up from the states with a pick-up ?

I brought 1 bar wrapped in a Canpar bag to the post office and it doesn't look good.
The cheapest way to ship to the U.S. will cost $25.46, and that's 5 business day's to postal 46553.
Guess I'll try a Canadian forum.

Tin is about $10.00 per pound, US dollars.

That means there is $8.90 US of Tin in each pound of your alloy. A price of not more than $10.00 US a pound sounds pretty fair to me! Of course, that is a retail price, lower would be better to appeal to people here who melt it and shoot it.

For me the only issue is the Copper (Cu), I would prefer not to have that in my alloys, but I could work with it. If I found this, I would take it/buy it at the right price though. Good find!

I can only hope that the $1.00 per pound offer was a joke! This is a mostly Tin rich alloy! Pure Lead is about $1.00 per pound.

Just sit on it. If you ever drive to the states take it to the nearest post office and mail it to a buyer.

Closest border crossing to me is a 6 hour drive.
I'm gonna have those smaller bar's remelted into 1/2 and 1 oz sinker's so I know how much to add to my LEE pot to sweeten the mix. The rest will go under the porch.
