Hey Wills
Was this match shot at Watkins range east of Aurora? I lived in Aurora for 6 years before the Air Force moved me and use to shoot IHMSA on the Watkins range. I always loved living in Colorado and thought I would retire there but that never happened.

Yes, the same range. I am told this is or might be the sight of the first BPCRS match in the USA. That was before I got started....

You were at Buckley AFB?
They do not shoot IHMSA there anymore but that match went to the Colorado Rifle Range east of there. Watkins/Golden Gun Club took over the old Watkins/Gateway range.

That is good to hear that homes have not been built around that area causing the range to be closed. I was stationed at Lowery AFB, was an instructor supervisor teaching electronics classes. I was into muzzle loader hunting and shooting as well as pistol shooting, never got into black powder cartridge shooting. It does sound link a huge amount of fun.

Well I can only wish I were back in Colorado again to enjoy the mountains, camping, hunting and fishing. We get back there every now and then to camp and fish in the summer time.
