Got the checks all are not properly formed, all have a notch that can't be good for holding on the shank.

I'll see what I can do here shortly Grandpa243, I have issues with technology but sometimes flail my way to success.

I think I got them in OK. After close scrutiny I can see the notch even after installation. These are on a 225415 sized .225.

The majority of mine are like yours Mayhem,

I do not have a boolit mold to try these out on yet. I am however concerned with accuracy using a notched check like these.

Got the .30 cal checks, well done they shoot just fine. Don't worry about the notches and such, if the base is good and they are they will shoot just fine.

I don't know nagantguy, knock the wheel weights of one of your tires and see what happens!!! Imagine a bullet spinning 100,000+ RPM, the notch has got to have an effect. I haven't shot any of these yet but I'll let you know how they do when I get a chance to.

I spoke in depth with Charlie from freechex about this before I sold any, his word is it does not effect accuracy. I have recieved new tooling that is much better. If anyone needs an exchange I will gladly do so!

    Got my bag-o-45's...

Had several packages all arrive on the same day, and the mail box is about 2miles from the house, so I pick up mail as I leave for work. Well I'm flyin down the hwy and I grabbed the package of chex and slashed it open with my Harbor Frieght Domestic terrorist approved box cutter and... chex everywhere. I failed to consider there might not be any other packaging. My bad - my mess and I think I found all of them.

    Thanks for the prompt service.

Been using the 30 cal. and .277 Al checks. Can't see that the notch is a problem. Nice checks in my opinion.

Just started using these checks in 30 and 22. So far nothing I've hit has complained about any notches. Thanks for some nice checks at a decent price.

My 8mm look fine an measure .329 outside and .294 inside. You said the aluminum was .14 thick so I figure the inside measurement I made may be .01 off. Mold is .299 . They should just work. 's

Will send you a check for 1k .310(30 caliber) next.
