    Best Lee mold for 38-40

    Of the three available 401-145-SWC, TL401-175-SWC, 401-175-TC
which do you recommend for a Win 92.
I seem to be able to cast better using the alum molds.

I like the 401-175-TC for it's weight (175 grs) and it's more traditional lube groove. I use a Boser design Lyman mould 401452 that weight 196 grs +/_ in my old saddle ring Model 92 and a Colt New Service in the same caliber. But of the LEEs I think the heavier TC design will serve you better. I don't think the Boser design is commercially available but if you run up on one, get it. It's a fine performing bullet.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and it irritates the pig.
