    .475

I think .475 would be more populare here in the US had shooters known how easy it is to make perfect .475 bullets from scrap 45 ACP brass!

$549.00 one step point form die
    $69.00 threaded base punch

    $618.00

After digging through old threads and doing a lot of searching, I haven't come up with much on your .475 dies.
However, with the recent build of a .475 Tremor (.458 SOCOM necked up to .475"), I'm curious about what your current bullet style is in .475.

Are you still running the tangent ogive with a .250" meplat? Or is there something else available now?

I was recently looking into one of his 475 sets but traded off that gun, more info might tempt me to buy another though

Got your email, I think it was you.... CSP1 press correct?

Yes I have sets of .475 cal dies ready to assemble and would be happy to provide you with everything you would need. That press as 1-12TPI threads in the ram correct? With that we could use my dies up right mounted in top of press with base punch in ram (new auto eject to work best) or upside down with die in ram and punch in top of press. I suppose you have a 7/8-14 threaded adapter for the top of the press yes? How about a 7/8-14 adapter for the ram?

Do you got has much scrap 45 acp brass down there? The 45 ACP is perfect for .475 jackets but yes the scrap 30-06 size cases would work well too.

    Hi Brian,
Yes I have the CSP1. Top plate has a 7/8 x 14 and the ram is 5/8 x 24 thread. My main fare is 22 and 17 projectiles but the question was asked if a 475" could be done, hence my email.
it is just an enquiry as to what you supply for this press. I think it would be a bit out of my league with my current press.

CSP1...... I was confused with his CHP1 hydrolic press with the bigger ram.

I don't currently offer anything with 5/8-24 threads...... I'll need to do some thinking on how we could make this work. I could be done on a Lee Classic with my tooling. Or a bigger swage press with larger threaded ram.

I have a Ruger 480. I am interested in swagging for it. What king of a press would I need for this?

Making 475 cal bullets from scrap ACP brass or commercial jackets should have no problems using any decent reloading press. Of course the larger the bullet the more pressure is necessary to form but being that the 45 ACP brass is already .475 in diameter makes it a very easy bullet to form!

Point form die, core seat die, two base punches and your good to go!

I do offer my improved Lee Classic swage press that has increased leverage that is more then capable of making great .475 bullets.
