    Karh 9mm

My wife informed me she has a valentines present on layaway(for me). It is a KAHR in 9mm. I think she picked the cw9 2tone semiatuo. She bought the last one. Of course I realized something was up when 2 9mm boxes of ammo turned up in my ammo cabinet. She usually keeps thinks secret but a gun she is always worried if she chose the right one. I am just glad she feeds my addiction.

My friend has 2 sub compact KAHRS coming she gets her pick. one in 9mm or the other in 380. I am hoping she picks the 9 so I don't have to add another caliber. Any way if she picks the 380 what mold weight and bullet style do I need that can be used for both calibers. I am ordering my dies next week. I have bullseye and herco pistol powders. I see after they get home waiting on a group buy once i get this figured out.

I had the MK-9 a few years back. Excellent, accurate well made pistol. Your wife has excellent taste. I shot the daylights out of mine with the Lee 120 TC over many different loads of powder. Mine was a very unfussy gun and shot well with just about anything I loaded in it from mild to wild. Enjoy your present!

Another vote for the Lee 120gr. TC.

I have had good results with the Lee 125 .358 rnfp out of a Kahr 9mm over Red Dot.

I also have a Kahr cw9 it's an excellent pistol. Keep me posted on how yours shoots with the mould you select. I'm still working on some bought cast boolits but my stash is about to run out, and I was thinking about casting some myself.

Mine runs well with the Lyman 356-242 120 grainer over 3.9 grains of ww-231. I think you'll find that it is difficult to get a one-size-fits-all mold for both the 380 and 9 mm Kahrs. A heavy boolit that works well in the 9mm will shoot way high in the 380, and kick harder. A lighter boolit that works in the 380 will tend to shoot low in the 9mm.
I like the Kahr CW9. It is a superb choice for midsized carry purposes. Smaller guns are too small for best shooting, while bigger guns are harder to hide without being all that much easier to shoot well. I like it better than the Ruger offerings, at least than the LC9. The SR guns are very nice for the money, but bigger. Congratulations on the new gun!

I really like my Kahr PM 9 as well as 3 other friends who have them , we are all avid shooters ,
In fact we liked the Kahrs so much we all purchased other models . I purchased 2 more a TP 45 and a CW 45
as for bullets IMO go with a 125 gr TC for the 9mm and a 95 to 100 gr RN or TC for the 380
