    Two thoughts...
    - Factory dies can be opened up.
    - 'Buckshot' can make any size you need.

    General information...
Depending on the inner dimensions of your rifle, you may not want to resize your bullets, at all.

You might try them un-sized. They are Lee's, have you mic'd them, either sized, or unsized? They are notoriously lax in their attention to spec.

The only lee 45/70 mold that requires a Gas check is the 500gr RN. All the other molds cataloged are plain base designs. I have the 340gr, the 450gr, and the 500gr Spire Point if you want a few bullets to try before buying a mold.

drawerdoc... I assume you're talking about a Buffalo Classic. I load for two of them. Both are excellent shooters and both have bores right on .458. For silhouettes we use a Saeco 1881 500 gr. For a lighter hunting bullet I've just gotten a Saeco 350 gr. GC mould. They both drop from the moulds at .460 using a 20:1 alloy. I size them both at .459 and lube with Larsen's 50/50 lube. Both bullets shoot MOA. I push the 500's at 1180 to 1250 FPS and the 350's at 1442 FPS using AA5744. No leading and excellent accuracy.
